Dear Jono,

I feel sad that I was never able to tell you about your brother before you and I were separated. Do you remember you sister? (Half sister technically but let us not dwell on that). She was only small the last time you and I saw each other.

We were expecting a little boy and I never told you about it. I kept meaning to but I thought I had so much time left. I did not know we were to be parted so suddenly.

Life can be so unexpected and change can happen faster than you might ever expect. Never delay telling good news even for a moment. If you have a joy to share or a love to confess say so as soon as you can because regret is hard to live with.

Your brothers name is Matthew. He is like you in a lot of ways I think you might get on very well. You both seem to love the same things... that is if you still enjoy cars, bob the builder, jets and anything that has wheels.

You have another brother. His name is David. He is not yet a year old but I think you might like him too. I do very much hope you will get to meet each other.

I wish you could know all your family. Make the most of the family you have got around you and be sure to soak up ever moment before they escape you.

Forgive me if I go on too long it's just that I miss you.
